Support

Sending out resources:

We distribute educational materials, printed resources, and books free of charge to patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and the community.

One-on-One Counselling:

We offer confidential counselling sessions with trained professionals who specialize in supporting individuals dealing with colorectal cancer. These sessions provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, survivors, caregivers, and family members to discuss their concerns, fears, and emotions related to their diagnosis and treatment journey.

Support Groups:

In addition to one-on-one counseling, we facilitate support groups where individuals touched by the disease can come together to share their experiences, insights, and struggles in a supportive and empathetic environment.

Healthcare system navigation:

We assist patients and caregivers in navigating the complex healthcare system, offering guidance on appointments, treatments, and resources.

Searching for additional resources: Our team conducts research and seeks out additional resources as requested by patients and caregivers to meet their specific needs.

Awareness

Educational events and conferences:

We organize and host educational events and conferences to raise awareness about colorectal cancer, its risk factors, symptoms, and screening options.

Public awareness campaigns:

We run campaigns through various channels to educate the public about colorectal cancer prevention, early detection, and available resources.

Community outreach: We engage with communities across Canada to promote colorectal cancer awareness through local events, partnerships, and initiatives.

Patient advocacy:

We advocate for the rights and needs of colorectal cancer patients, working to improve access to quality care, treatments, and support services.

Policy advocacy:

We advocate for policy changes at the government level to support colorectal cancer research, prevention, and access to screening and treatment options.
